I’d wanted to do a pin-up Day of the Dead girl for a while, as well as indulge my interest in 1950’s culture. I’ve never been much of a car guy, but I do appreciate the art and craftsmanship of classic American cars, so I threw some in there, including a beautiful Chevy Bel-Air. This was the first time I’ve ever really drawn cars, and it was easier and they turned out better than I expected.
